DR SHAUN WALLACE
Dr Shaun Anthony Linford Wallace is an English barrister, lecturer and television personality. He is a "chaser" on the ITV quiz show The Chase. Wallace is a part-time lecturer and visits schools, colleges and other institutions to educate students on aspects of law.
Shaun graduated from The Polytechnic of North London, a predecessor of London Met, with a Law BA in 1983.
Shaun has worked as a barrister since 1986 and has experience in a wide range of serious criminal cases. He is a senior criminal defence advocate for Great James Chambers Street. He has worked on several high profile cases over his career relating to murder, manslaughter, fraud, money laundering, firearms and drug trafficking.
Shaun is probably best known for his role as "the Dark Destroyer" (one of the chasers) on ITV’s game show, 'The Chase'. He is a game show veteran, having been the first black winner of Mastermind in 2004. Reaching the final of Are you an Egghead? in 2008, and was ranked 286th in the World Quizzing Championships in 2012.
He has presented programmes for BBC Radio 4 and is a regular contributor to BBC Radio 5 Live.
Shaun devotes a large part of his time to social enterprise work, lecturing on aspects of law in schools, colleges and other institutions.
Most of all Dr Wallace has never let the fame of his professional career interfere which is his deep-rooted family ties. He remains humble to those closest to him

GREED THE GAME SHOW
A young Shaun Wallace displays his mentality
Greed (stylised as Gr££d) is a British television game show based on the American version of the same title. The series, which was very short-lived in the UK, offered a £1,000,000 top prize; Jerry Springer hosted it.
Dr Shaun Wallace was team captain and led the team home to obtain a considerable prize fund.
MASTERMIND CHAMPION 2004
First black person to win Mastermind.
Barrister Shaun Wallace has become the first black champion of the BBC quiz programme Mastermind.
Becoming the 27th Mastermind winner since the original series began in 1972, Barrister Wallace was described by host John Humphrys as "another worthy champion".
Barrister Wallace added, "I’m very proud to have won Mastermind, as it showed that we were more than just DJs, singers, and footballers. We’re a race that has intellect.”

Channel 5 said that the team-based series, Greed, would feature the best aspects of The Weakest Link and Who Wants to be a Millionaire?
It features groups of five contestants who must work to gether to boost their prize - but individuals are eliminated in a endgame round and may leave with nothing.
We recognise him as ‘The Dark Destroyer’ from ITV’s favourite quiz show, The Chase, but Dr Shaun Wallace is no fresher to the TV quizzing world.
Exactly seventeen years ago, Wallace was crowned the Mastermind champion – the first black person to win the popular quiz show.
Dr Wallace states..."This my life's journey over the course of my first forty-eight years, a journey from the outset, has been driven by a desire and dream (that has continued to this day) of wanting to achieve, an ambition to succeed that is coupled with an idealistic goal of wanting to leave a legacy for others hopefully in the future to hopefully aspire to and surpass".
